Lavender Princess

Here is a very hardy and compact rhododendron with almost perfect foliage. The plant was created by the Dexter Estate and is a hybrid between R. fortunei and R. catawbiense. The shiny dark green leaves make this a handsome shrub for any garden, and will make an excellent hedge when planted in groups. Super hardy, this plant will take -20 deg F, so will perform well in zone 5. Blooms in May.
