R. 'Heat Wave'

Created by the late Harold Greer, who was probably the most famous in the rhododendron world, and had Greer Gardens for many years. The rich red flowering rhododendron is R. 'The Honourable Jean Marie de Montague' X R. 'Leo Group'. Growing to 5 ft tall in 10 years, the flowering happens in late May. Hardy to zone 8.
