R. 'Cobalt'
A yet unregistered new hybrid by Singing Tree Gardens is a cross between R. 'Crater Lake' x R. 'Starry Night'. The dark blue-purple color of the 'Starry Night' is mixed with the larger truss size of 'Crater Lake'. The plant seems to stay much lower than 'Crater Lake' being around 3-4 ft tall in 10 years. Dark green foliage. Flowering is in late April going into early May. Hardy to zone 7.
