Preziosa

If you like a variety of colors on one plant, then 'Preziosa' is the one for you.  The flowers start out a cream-buff color with a slight pink picotee on each flower, then turn to shades of pink, then red and blue and even bronze.  The flowering lasts for 4-5 months with the flowers progressing through 5 color changes!  A hybrid between a macrophyla and a serrata, 'Preziosa' exhibits mostly serrata qualities, although the flowers are mopheads.  This photo was taken of our summer garden at the nursery and 'Preziosa' takes center stage, turning heads for months.  This is an excellent cultivar that has won many awards.
