Pinus thunbergiana 'Aocha-kuro-matsu'

Quite unusual variegated pine cultivar that has irregular needle colors. Some branches can be green, some bright yellow, and yet others a mixture of both. Needs full sun to be happy, and will grow 1 ft per year. The Japanese translation of the name is 'two needle pine, but does not refer to the species densiflora, but more likely means two colors of needles. Hardy to zone 5. Rare.
