Picea omorika 'Zuckerhut'

Tight and conical spruce that has slightly ascending branches. The needles are green on top, but blue under, as some of the other Picea omorika cultivars are. 'Zuckerhut', translated to mean 'Sugarloaf', reminds me of a larger version of the little white spruce Picea glauca 'Zuckerhut', which is way smaller. Pyramidal forms are always useful in any garden design, contrasting well to all of the mounding plants. Arriving in the US only recently from Europe.
