Picea abies 'Lilliput'

This new miniature Norway Spruce is ideal for a small garden space, troughs, fairy gardens or even garden railroads. The plant grows 1 inch or less per year, so will only be 10 inches tall by 15 inches wide in 10 years. The new growth in spring is super sparkly and reminds me of a smaller 'Little Gem' spruce. The congested growth and densely branched habit keeps this one attractive over time, and will become a favorite. Some report that with age a leader may develop making it appear as a fat pyramid. A 'humpty dumpty' miniature conifer. Hardy to -40 deg F.
