Penheale Blue
Penheale Blue
A small leaf rhododendron that we received from a friend in Scotland. The flowers are a blue-purple color in clusters, covering the entire plant in mid spring. The smaller, roundish foliage is dark-green in summer, but will turn an attractive dark-bronze color in winter. This is proving to be one of the better small leaf purples in our collection. 10 year old plants can be 4-5 feet in height, and quite bushy.

· Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
