Oshio Beni

Leaves on this upright tree will open red and orange and deepen to purple by summer.  When fall comes about, the leaves will return to different shades of red and hold that show to the end.  It will grow in quickly and be less than 25 feet tall in 10 years but has been known to continue growing up to 40 feet!  This little tree can be whatever you want it to be, including quite large!  This variety will do best out of the hot sun and wind.  Protect it and it will reward you for years to come.

Like all Japanese maples, this will do well in pots and will lend itself to bonsai projects.
