Lysimachia nummularia ‘Aurea’ - Creeping Jenny

Creeping Jenny is a useful, fast growing groundcover that can choke out weeds, and brighten up a shady spot. This cultivar 'Aurea', Golden Pennywort, is more yellow-green than that species, so can add brightness even more. The plant can soften a hard edge, or spill from a container or over a wall. Native to Europe, but grows in North America just fine. In hot climates protect from the afternoon sun. Easily trimmed to keep in bounds, or to keep looking bright and fresh.
