Juniperus procumbens 'Green Mound'

Bright green ground cover juniper that has the reputation of staying flat, and not making a mound at the center of the plant like many other ground cover junipers tend to do. The plant will stay low, less than 6"-8", and will spread from 4-6 feet wide. Tolerant of deer and drought, this one is very low maintenance and can choke out weeds. Used often in bonsai to make old looking trees in a short amount of time. Hardy to zone 3.
