Another great ground cover juniper that grows only 1 ft tall, but spreads fairly wide. ‘Limeglow’ is drought- and deer-tolerant and fairly salt tolerant. It tolerates hot weather, moderately poor soils, and many air pollutants found in urban areas. It grows slowly and will choke out weeds. In winter the lemon-yellow foliage turns a shade of burnished gold. Plant 6 ft apart for them to grow together and form a wide, thick mat.  Hardy to zone 2, -50 deg F.
