Here is a relitively new Hinoki cypress that is much like the cultivar 'Little Markey', yet is dark-green. Very upright and narrow, so will not take up much space. Very tight congested growth that grows about 4-6 inches per year. May get to 4 ft tall, but only 6-8 inches wide. Nice for trough or rock gardens. Hardy to zone 5.
