Imagine a cypress that has light blue-green foliage and grows flat on the ground. This describes a wonderful new cypress from New Zealand called Cupressus macrocarpa 'Greenstead Magnificent' It is a spreading blue form of Monterey Cypress and will make a ground cover 6 inches off the ground and 10 ft. wide. Leaves are a stringy coarse look with powder- blue color. Magnificent !
After years of tryiing to get this plant going, we finally found some stock, and bought all they had. This plant is almost impossible to propagate by any method. These grafters must be magicans to get these plants going. They are so beautiful.
