Golden Ghost

A unique Japanese Red Pine with similar alternating bands on the needles as Pinus densiflora 'Oculus Draconis', but golden in color. These band can be 1 or 2 on each needle offer a colorful contrast to the red buds and stems. This conifer is considered to be in the large category, growing 12" to 15" per year. A 10 year old specimen will be 10-15 ft tall and 10 -12 ft wide. Hardy to zone 5.
