Fairy Lights

Just when you think you have seen everything amazing in Japanese maples, you come to a dwarf weeping variety with highly dissected leaves AND riotous fall color!  There is a lot of wow factor in this little tree.  The spring leaves emerge bright green and ready for the world, draping gracefully about the trunk.  As you creep toward fall, the leaves become tipped in orange and red and finally there is a crazy explosion of color and the leaves settle in bright orange, red tipped with the occasional purple highlight.  Oh my my, this little tree makes my wildest imagination a dull place to be. 

This is an ideal tree for a potted patio garden and it will make itself the star of any raised bed.  Standing ovation and five stars.  Make some room, we just found another tree you really have to have.
