Erica vagens 'Lyonesse' makes a perfect bushy, spreading, evergreen mound of soft dark-green foliage. The flowers, pure white and bottle-brush like, appear in early to mid summer and last over 1 month. We recommend shearing it after flowering so it will continue to look tidy. Erica vagens 'Lyonesse' will thrive in sandy loam soil with lots of organic matter, like bark, added when planting. They rarely need fertilizing, a good compost is usually sufficient. Prefers full sun or lots of light to flower well.
