Our favorite Camellia, 'Donation' is one of the most beautiful with perfect light pink flowers and a yellow center. The plant blooms so heavily that you can't imagine where all of the flowers are coming from. All of this on a vigorous, compact upright shrub. As an added bonus the faded blooms drop unlike many of the Japanese camellias.

Camellia ‘Donation’ was bred by Colonel Stephenson Clarke of Borde Hill, England, and is a hybrid between Camellia japonica 'Donkelaeri' and Camellia saluenensis. Another plus: it is cold hardy and heat tolerant.
