Daphne odora 'Marianni' PP21820

I love the winter blooming Daphnes, and was interested to hear that they are known as the romance plant. This patented cultivar that we buy from a licensed wholesaler has wide yellow banding on each leaf, which contrasts so well with the dark green middle of the leaf. The flowers are about the same as most other Daphne odora cultivars, and has a powerful scent. This cultivar grows 3-4 ft high and the same wide. Originally known as 'Rogbret', but now is registered as 'Marianni'. Very useful when planted into containers for the deck, or near your living space. Flowers from February into late March. Hardy to zone 6.
