Corpuscularia lehmannii - Outer Space plant
Corpuscularia lehmannii - Outer Space plant
What an unusual succulent! The leaves are like fat cubes, tetrahedrons, and hexihedrons stacked tightly along the stem, making the most unusual shapes for a plant. Nicknamed 'Outer Space' plant, and you can see why. The flowers are a orange or yellow color, many petaled on the ends of the branches, and appear in spring and summer. One plant will grow to be 8 inches tall x 12 inches wide. Even though it is rated to grow in zone 5, there may be some dieback in areas with very cold winters. The plant will regrow in spring. The plant will be noticed and produce curiosity.
