Cornus kousa 'Beni Fuji'

A relatively new kousa dogwood that is different. The light pink flowers are a color that is not common among the kousa dogwoods, and they are very 'pointy'. The tree is small in stature, growing to 7-8 ft tall in 10 years, and flowering more heavily in full sun locations. An excellent choice for the smaller garden. Dogwoods flower longer than other flowering trees or plants as their flowers are brachts rather than petals. Choice!
