Choisya ternata 'Sundance'
Choisya ternata 'Sundance'
Also known as Mexican Orange Blossom, this lovely evergreen dense shrub has aromatic, glossy, chartreuse foliage, lighting up dark areas in the garden. From late spring to early summer there is a profusion of fragrant, star-shaped, pure white flowers covering the shrub. Often, the blooming re-starts in late summer and goes into the fall. Rich in nectar, the flowers attract bees and butterflies. The fragrance is likened to the divine perfume of orange blossoms. You can expect the rounded and mounding plant to be 4-5 ft tall in 10 years. Given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. Hardy to zone 7.
