Camellia sasanqua 'Setsugekka'

Grown for it sparkling and large FRAGRANT flowers blooming in the fall. The plant has very dark-green shiny foliage on a full and lush structure. Can grow to 8 ft. tall over time, and prefers a bit of shade. The blooms are large, 4 inches wide and semi-double. A bit of pink blushing on the edges adds to the elegance. Flowering is over a fairly long period, from October to December. The FRAGRANT flowers will perfume the air in its location. Hardy to zone 4.
