Camellia sasanqua 'Chansonette'

Truly lovely, this late fall blooming, award winning Camellia will make your yard come alive with color every autumn. The fully double flowers of 'Chansonette' are a lavender-pink color and are perfect for cutting and bringing indoors. Equally attractive, the deep green foliage is glossy and will cover this wide grower fully. Also, this one has a broad weeping form, and makes a great hedge or foundation planting. 

Best sited in a partially shady area and protected from strong winds. This variety will grow 3-4 ft tall and 6-8 ft wide. After flowering, pruning can be done to control the shape and size. Good choice for a low hedge. Hardy to zone 6.
