Acer shirasawanum 'Jordan'

 A new introduction from Italy, this shirasawanum 'Full Moon' type maple is very desirable because of certain qualities. The tree grows faster, and can take more sun than the more well known 'Aurem'. Also, it has some of the brightest yellow leaves of all Japanese maples. The autumn colors tend to be yellow, orange and red. One can expect this tree to be 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 6.
