Acer palmatum 'Uzen Nishiki'

Touted by some as the most variegated of all Japanese Maples, and one would have to agree. The leaves come out a mixture of green, white and pink on a small tree that has a narrow canopy when young, but then becomes more broad as it matures. Prefers morning sun, then partial shade in the warmer afternoon in well drained soil. The tree will be 10 ft tall and 5 ft wide in 10 years and is hardy to zone 5.
