Acer palmatum 'Shindeshojo'

A highly decorative, densely-branched small tree with dramatic foliage colors. The spring new leaves are brilliant pink-red, followed by green-red summer foliage. In autumn the leaves start shifting to orange, then develop orange-scarlet highlights. Considered a small tree, one can expect this one to be 10 ft tall and 5 ft wide in 10 years. Will offer fabulous color in a part of the garden with all green companion plants. Useful for a specimen in a container.
