Acer palmatum 'Geisha Gone Wild'
Acer palmatum 'Geisha Gone Wild'
We were looking for A.p. 'Geisha' so we could see how 'wild' she got. We found 'Geisha' in New Zealand to be a pretty pink foliaged cultivar. The 'Gone Wild' version is definately more exciting! It is a small, upright tree the pink leaves having a distinct cream along the edges. Very showy! The tree will grow to 8 ft tall and 5 - 6 ft wide in 10 years. Rare and unusual. Found by Buchholz & Buchholz nursery in Oregon. Hardy to zone 5.
