Talk about big flower heads…WOW are they ever huge. I used my hat to give some scale in this photo of our plant of 'Mme. Emile Mouillere' in the garden. The lovely blooms have a small blue eye and become decorated with pink or blue speckles as they age. The flowers start in June-July and last until frost. This year we still had flowers in November! The foliage is a nice rich shiny green that turns great autumn colors too. Introduced into the trade in the early 1900's, and still being offered today is a testimate to it being one of the best of the hydrangea hybrids ever created. It is easy to grow, and will give you years of satisfaction. Excellent!
