Vincent van Gogh

Vincent van Gogh

Created by Koster M. & Sons Nursery in Boskoop, Netherlands, around 1939. Any plant that has stood the test of time, and is still propagated and grown today has to be good. There are over 12,000 named and registered rhododendrons, with most of those lost to the trade due to lack of popularity. 'Vincent van Gogh' is still being produced for the nursery trade, and is still popular today. The popularity goes with its showy bi-color flowers of pink and white. The parents of this hybrid are unknown, but no matter, it really shines when in full bloom. A medium sized rhododendron that grows to 5 ft tall x 6 ft wide. Hardy to -10 deg F.
