Silberreif

For all of you Abies koreana 'Silberlocke' fans, here is one that displays even more silver.  'Silberreif' grows small and conical like 'Silberlocke', but the needles are a brighter silver and contort more tightly, showing more of the undersides of the leaves.  After a few years, they will cone up nicely!  Found at the Hachmann Nursery in Germany.  Found to not grow well in areas with humid summer climates.  Limited quantities.
