Scab

This species rhododendron has furry stems and light grey-green leaves.  It seems to flower for months in the early spring.  The habit is somewhat open, but interesting.  The bright pink flowers appear in small trusses along the stems, between leaf clusters.  In February and March, the plant really lights up the landscape!
