Native to the Mediterranean, this cute little ground cover is popular among rock garden enthusiasts, as it will grow only 12 inches wide and 1-2 inches tall. The common name is 'Baby Swiss Geranium' and we love it because it flowers for such a long period...from spring into the fall. It is a great companion plant to spot among dwarf conifers or heaths and heathers. It can take full sun, but provide afternoon shade in hot areas.
