R. bureavii x R. 'Barbara Adler'

This unregistered R. bureavii hybrid is, nonetheless, a valuable rhododendron to have in any collection. The foliage is characteristic of the species R. bureavii with the upper leaf surface quite shiny and textured. There is a bit of indumentum on the leaf undersides, but the main attribute is its compact size. The plant will grow to be 3 ft tall and wide in 10 years, and can take a lot of sun. The pink flowers are nice and come out in mid April.
