Mrs. Charles Pearson
Mrs. Charles Pearson
An old hybrid out of the Koster & Sons nursery, Boskoop, Netherlands in the early 1900's, which is still being propagated today due to its excellent qualities. The plant becomes full and lush as it grows, flowering prolifically. Soft light pink flowers have darker pink edges, with speckles on the upper lobe. A classic rhododendron flower. The plant is hardy to 0 degrees, so can take a bit of colder weather. Received an Award of Merit in 1933 and then a First Class Certificate as late as 1955.
