Japanese Blood Grass

A highly ornamental perennial grass that starts out green with red tips, then turns more and more red as the season progresses. Because the plant grows from underground rhizomes, it can spread in the garden bed. The best use in in a large container, which can be placed on a brick in the garden bed for an accent, but will not spread. Hardy to zone 5.
