This very popular groundcover, commonly known as Scotch Moss, is a wonderful addition to the rock garden, or to grow between pavers. It is not really a moss, and dislikes shady soggy areas. It likes full sun and plenty of water in the summer. In late spring or early summer the plant gets covered with little white flowers. One plant will expand to 3 ft. in diameter in a few years.
