Acer palmatum 'Suminagashi'

One of the best red foliage broad and upright Japanese maples. For those that desire a medium sized tree, 10 ft - 15 ft tall and wide with red leaves , may want to look at Acer palmatum 'Suminagashi'.  This tree is fast growing with red leaves that tend to weep on branch ends, adding a 'look'. Red palmate leaves are up to 4 inches long and deeply cut with toothed margins and pointed tips. Fall color is a bright red. Hardy to zone 6.
