Rhododendrons - Singing Tree Gardens
Genus: Rhododendron
Nancy Evans
('Hotei' x 'Lem's Cameo')
Shown here in our garden, mid May, is 'Nancy Evans', the yellowest of the yellows. Nancy Evans will only grow to be 4-5 ft. tall in 10 years. The buds open red-orange, but as the flowers unfurl they are a rich butter-yellow. We love to plant 'Nancy Evans' near some of the May flowering purples like 'Red Eye' or 'Anah Kruschke' for a delight to the eyes.
