Genus: Thymus Species: serpyllum Elfin

One of the slowest growing thymes, 'Elfin' is a great choice to grow between stepping stones. The flowers are light lavender and very small, almost unnoticeable. This plant can be walked upon without damage or will create a "moss effect" for a Japanese theme. The plants are so flat, there is really no height to measure, but each plant will cover an area 18" in diameter. Sweet!
