Frequently Asked Questions

Now here is a case where MORE is better! These are all of the plants that are super special, but don't fit into the other categories. This selection includes ground covers, unusual perennials, bulbs, vines, rock garden plants and whatever we grow that we would like you to grow. We hope you will try some of these treasures and will let us know what you think of them, and of course we would be delighted if you ordered even more.

Genus: Iris
Species: sibirica
Casears Brother
A very dark blue-purple iris that is "to die for". Easy to grow, this wonderful selection of I. louisiana is a real knock-out. Long narrow blades grow 4-5 ft. tall into a dense clump with lots of blooms. Each year you are rewarded by double the blooms you had the previous year. Position near plants with orange or yellow flowers like we did here by Rhododendron 'Golden Gate'. What a show!
