Unusual and distinctive lilac-like flowers of candy pink to china-blue are cup shaped and are tightly packed in large flower heads that will invite comments. Some people like to call this variety the "popcorn hydrangea". Unlike any other hydrangea, the leaves are waxy and dark green adding to the drama. This plant does well in a windy or coastal site. One of the larger growing hydrangeas. Very choice!
