All through the year heaths and heather are blooming in our display gardens. And even when not in bloom, their foliage can take on dramatic shades of red, gold or lime green. These wonderful plants are relatively drought tolerant, are easy to grow and add interest all year long.

We first received this plant from Jim Thompson after seeing it in his garden on the coast of California. Beautiful long racemes of white flowers cover the plant from August through October. The rest of the year, the plant is a mound of lime-yellow foliage that is so very attractive and unusual. Highly floriferous and recommended! Sport from 'Long White' found by Jim Thompson of Manchester, California, U.S.A. Named in honour of the Californian gold rush of 1849.
